History
I graduated from UVSC in 2001 with a Business Management Bachelor's Degree. After graduation I was employed by the UVSC Bookstore as Merchandise Manager. During this time I was able to be a buyer, plus manage the bookstore's non-textbook merchandise. My husband was offered a job in Florida, so we moved to southwest Florida. I was fortunate enough to come in contact with a small logistics company. Since I have been there, they have grown by about 115 employees. We consult and arrange transportation for General Electric, Resun, Boart Longyear, and a few smaller companies. We support mostly the larger items produced by these companies such as steam turbines, wind turbines, etc. It is an exciting field of work to be in. When I started I hardly knew what logistics meant and now I know more about logistics than I ever thought I wanted to!
